The Viking Age was a period of the Middle Ages in which Norsemen undertook large-scale raiding, colonizing, and conquest throughout Europe, eventually reaching North America.
Viking Prince (964 A.D.)
Off the coast of Norway, a fishing boat discovered a man floating on a raft. Captain Olaf ordered him picked up.
Even though he floated in on the tide — who he was — where he came from — no one — not even the unknown youth himself — knew!

The youth soon learned that he was a wanted fugitive, although he didn’t know why Thorvald was hunting him. After a demonstration of derring-do….

“Jon” helped Olaf and his crew defeat Thorvald…

…but with the villain dead, he might never know his true identity…
Arak, Son of Thunder

A ship experienced something similar to the one that discovered the Viking Prince…

The Vikings had reached North America and this boy was the lone survivor of the Quontauka tribe. He was raised as a Viking and trained in warfare.

Any more than a wolf can become a shark, Arak could never be a real Viking. Nevertheless, he continued to join them on their raids…
