What’s been happening in Heaven, the eternal realm and home of Angels that enforce the will of the Presence?

A number of good deeds must be done for a soul to enter Heaven; however, a soul from inside Heaven can vouch for a soul with insufficient good deeds. Souls that have committed unnatural acts can also be allowed to enter Heaven if they prove themselves as just.
Souls in Heaven, or good souls rejected by Heaven, can also be reincarnated to return to Earth to be reborn again to accumulate good deeds. However, those who have lived a life of sin, but were nonetheless good of heart, may find themselves wandering the limbo realm of Purgatory.
Heaven is structured in seven levels. In the Third resides a Death-Angel that can grant mortality to souls that wish to reside in the mortal realm. In the Fifth is located a foundry that casts swords for the Angels. In the Seventh (and highest) sits the throne of the Presence, but perhaps not the Presence…

The Presence is nowhere and everywhere, the rock beneath your feet and the air in your lungs. He’s Heaven and Earth, perhaps even Hell itself.
Zauriel
Asmodel
At the beginning of creation, the Presence created the Pax Dei to maintain the “peace of God.” The Pax Dei is comprised of four orders: the Eagle Host, the Bull Host, the Lion Host, and the Human Host. The command of these orders falls to the Lord of Hosts.
6,000 years ago, after an eternity of service, the King-Angel of the Bull-Host order, Asmodel, began plotting to overthrow the throne of Heaven. He recruited Neron, the ruler of Hell, to help him.
Zauriel
For an Angel to leave the ranks of the Pax Dei, special permission is required; and if an Angel decides to leave Heaven completely, the four King-Angels must approve.
An Angel of the Eagle-Host, Zauriel, became aware of Asmodel’s plan, but with no confidence that it would succeed, appeared before the King-Angels and asked to go to Earth.

Thus began an adversarial relationship that would extend from the ancient past into the distant future…
