A billion years ago…

…three demons ruled the Earth: Abnegazar, Rath, and Ghast. A group of benevolent travelers known as “the Timeless Ones,” discovered the cosmic balance of the universe had been disturbed on Earth and set out to punish “the Demons Three.”

Before they were overwhelmed, the demons created three mystical artifacts that could free them from any spell by which the Timeless Ones bound them: the Green Bell of Uthool (Abnegazar), the Silver Wheel of Nyorlath (Rath), and the Red Jar of Calythos (Ghast.)

Abnegazar was buried beneath the sands of Egypt, Rath was buried beneath the Arctic ice, and Ghast was buried in the ocean. They remained imprisoned… for the time being…

Before he could strike, disaster struck Zan with the arrival of a cloud of space gas. An element called “Absorbium” could soak up the gas; however, it existed only at the Earth’s core.

He reached the Earth’s core… but due to some strange property of Absorbium, it paralyzed him… and the Xan slowly died out. Eterno remained paralyzed… for the time being…
