Perpetua’s Multiverse

20 billion years ago, The Presence entrusted its Hands with the Seven Forces of Creation to start new realms of existence, or multiverses. The Seven Forces gather around two poles. At one pole, positive Anti-Crisis energy is connective, linking every being to each other and to the past. At the other pole, Crisis (or Direct Crisis) Energy strives to shatter connection and make only one moment important.

The rules were clear. Following each creation, the Hands would either die or return to the Omniverse to create another multiverse. However, Perpetua had other ideas and hoarded Crisis energy to birth her reality.

Perpetua reached into the Overvoid to design the Sixth Dimension, a “control room” for her multiverse. She used three basic forms of matter: dark (rich with potential), positive (firm and constant), and antimatter (all-destroying and corrosive.)

She then birthed three sons and gave each one a realm. Alpheus would rule the dark realm as a “World Forger” and use Element X (the purest form of creation itself) to populate “all that is and will ever be.” Mar Novu would rule the positive realm, monitoring the universes that Alpheus sent into his Orrery of Worlds. He would see to their development and prevent any crises that might rise among them. Mobius, Mar Novu’s opposite, would rule the antimatter realm, separating his mother’s multiverse from the Overvoid and the rest of the Omniverse, and keeping the boundaries free of life.
